Afro and Latin grooves from the Toulouse campus.
Five student associations put it on 94 MHz in 1982, and it has stayed on the Paul Sabatier campus ever since, housed by the student welfare office since 2018. Around a hundred volunteers make the programmes; three paid staff hold it together — a technician, an antenna coordinator and an education director, each more than a decade in the job — and some eleven thousand people listen on an average day. Training new voices is written into the remit alongside broadcasting.
Its own declared taste is afro and Latin American records, grooves from anywhere else, and whatever the Toulouse scene is putting out this month. Around that sit cultural and scientific magazines, sound creations, and L'Heure des Siestes, the monthly tied to the city's Les Siestes festival. The station also runs RadioPhonie, its own festival of radio work.
Since 1982, still on campus.
