Dusting off the needle…
Berlin school and ambient from a small Polish town.
Marek Kwiatkowski has run this from Mogilno, midway between Poznań and Toruń, since March 2007, which makes it Poland's longest-lived internet station and the only one there playing electronic music and nothing else. It is non-commercial and non-profit, and the library is built the slow way: Creative Commons releases plus tracks cleared one at a time with the artists and labels who made them. Producers send their own work in, and if it fits the profile it gets played — which is most of how the rotation has grown.
The autopilot leans on classic el-muzyka — Berlin school sequences, ambient, chillout, synthwave — and nine weekly live shows sit on top of it. Kwiatkowski takes five, including Markowe Granie and a Friday hour given over to electroacoustic music; Beata Pardela hosts three, among them Berliński Poniedziałek; Piotr Paschke's Retrogranie handles the back catalogue. The counter is past 2,100 episodes.
Sequencers, not choruses.
