Two Shell, Channel Tres, and the new Polish rap.
It went on air on 1 June 2005, started at the University of Warsaw's journalism and political science faculty and run largely by volunteers learning the job from people a few years ahead of them. The address has changed — Bednarska for most of its life, later the Neophilology building on Dobra — but the pitch has not: electronics, rap and urban culture, and new records rather than catalogue. It claims to have been first on air with several rappers who went on to top the Polish charts, which in Polish rap is a decent record.
Kapitan Poranek opens the day, Kampus Główny takes the science hours, Alternator runs the drive home, and evenings belong to author shows built on house, techno, funk, rap and jazz — several of them hosted by working producers and DJs. Kampus Takeover hands the airwaves to a guest outright, and some of the best-known names in Polish rap and pop have taken it.
The talent scouts are volunteers.
