Deep, soulful, and tech house around the clock.
Point Blank's first transmission went out from Slough in November 1994, a West London pirate that carried into Berkshire and Surrey, started because quality house music was hard to find on any frequency at the time — legal or otherwise, as the station tells it. It spent most of the next three decades that way. Licensed broadcasting began on 26 June 2021, and since then it has run around the clock on DAB+ across London, online and through its own app, with the reach changed and not much else.
Miranda Sawyer summed it up in The Guardian as “quality house music, not too much chat.” The day goes to residents in long blocks rather than hour slots: Zaki opening the morning, Diggin' in the Crates holding five hours straight through the middle, then The Sheriff, Braaks, Lee Berry and Rob Francis, with Raydius closing the evening and mix shows overnight.
Still four to the floor.
